It is an excellent analytical piece.

The state department is also run by a former general - who originally failed in Iraq as he did not complete the mission that he was assigned. Powell knows his hands are not going to get dirty - so he can support dictators like Mush.

India will have to fight its own battles - forget Powell, he is more hollow than suspected.

But question is, WHEN will India start fighting its own battles? I am tired of waiting listening to all this buk buk buk from India. Why don't they stop talking and show evil Pakistan what they are made of and make our teeth rattle?

Somehow, I doubt they will, LOL. Once a soft state, always a soft state.

India should not and must not look up to the US or for that matter any country for solving its problems.
every country looks after only their interests. so is US , so is pakistan and so will be india.

Typical response... coming up with a collection of articles. Clerk-Babu mentality.

No, India isn't fighting anyone. Its just collecting bruises from what everyone can see. An encounter here, a dead militant there... thats not the way to put down a rebellion.

So WHEN will India take the war to Pakistan? When they get rid of their Secretarial Babu mentality thats when. And WHEN will that be? NEVER.

typical response from a paki who doesnt see the writing on the wall even after his head is smashed against it.

sorry as far as i know, that is the only way to put down sponsored terrorism. and it seems to be a success too. india and pak started off in more or less the same condition and we know where we both are today, don't we?

No, we never want to take the war to pakistan. pakistan is doing a fine job of destroying it society by itself. we do not believe wasting our human and material resources for a futile war. we just need to protect our borders and pick off the terrorists as they come over..

US support has never been there and never will be there. they r too busy to protect their own interests in the mess in afghan and iraq.

Wow. Hindoo ko ghussa aa-gya, LOL.

Its not OUR heads that are being smashed, bro. Read Chellaney's article again. Question was, when will India fight its own battles? Answer is, never.

The only way to put down a rebellion is to go to the source and deal with the source (Pakistan, I'm proud to say). Anyone in India doing that? No? hahahahahahahah

Yes, we know. $100Billion external debt and 600million who can't even afford one meal a day. And YOU are going to fight your own battles? This I have to see.....

Good luck.

dearest nusrat

if i make statements , proof is asked
if i show proof, proof from non-indian media is asked
if i quote non-indian media, i am called a lawyer, not that i care much for lawyers, but i do like ur humor in the end note.

it is not about who is nasty. it is about exposing the hypocrisy and the web of lies and deceit. a few gullible readers may get misled by browsing the amount of nonsense in the net. just my small effort.

You are no lawyer... If you have ever been near a lawyer, you would know they would rather drink toilet-water than do their own research. No.. their clerk-babu does it for them. I consider you a clerk-babu at best.

Yes, your small effort has impressed your mother for sure. Now you got to impress me.

Actually Nusrat is right
india has always been helped by the world in its wars against paksitan
be they 1948,65 or 71,,, and now kargill.
they always have the security council working for them
make no mistake about it, whenever there is an islamic state pitted against a non islamic state, the UN wont waste time in containing the muslim state.
they have all the tools ready in the form of resolutions, sanctions, embargos, abstained votes and Vetos.
actually india doesnt need a seat at security council . it has its nominess sitting there, already.
and no, india hasnt been left in lurch by the USA,
this can never happen.
india has a huge market, which can be defferred for a short while but never ignored,
they do not have failed and sham democracies,
they have the tendency to adapt western values to any flexible limits :)----:)
they do not have the law nad order problems, like we have in pakistan
their military is professional and doesnt meddle in the affairs of the government like we have in pakistan.
they have a huge indian community in USA,, second only to AIPAC in USA,
they have enormous wealth hidden
only id they had wiser statesman who could propell india to the fast lane :(
sigh NONE.

aarish
