| Musharraf's US visit is critical Dear Readers: Pakistan’s
General Pervez Musharraf has begun his visit to the US on a very disheartening
note, both from the Pakistanis and from the Bush Administration. He
landed in Boston on Saturday and faced his first demonstration on Sunday
by Pakistanis when he drove to speak at the Kennedy School. The same
day President Bush’s National Security Adviser, Condoleezza Rice
made a statement which Musharraf definitely did not like. SA Tribune
will be covering the Musharraf visit in detail with inside stories,
highlights, sidelights and juicy bits. Please click the Update Box to
get the latest. In other stories this week, we deal with special deals
Musharraf’s Finance Minister Shaukat Aziz has in store for his
Middle Eastern friends. We also produce some documents on how the Stock
Exchange was manipulated by Aziz, using small depositors’ money.
Another big scoop is the official disclosure that thousands of Pakistani
passports were missing in key suspected stations of Jeddah and Dubai.
What will be the repercussions of this disclosure on the US War against
Terror. Who used these passports? What happens if any terrorist is caught
with a stolen Pakistani passport? And we have received more documents
on the land grabbing story, showing how the Pakistan Army is keeping
and managing grabbed lands. Take care. Complete

While the story of land grabbing by Generals still reverberates around the country, with a case filed in the Lahore High Court taking it to another level, SA Tribune has now found evidence of how the army is mismanaging its "occupied" lands in prime sectors of major cities. Billions have been lost because of this mismanagement, now officially detected and confirmed.
Islamabad is the show piece Capital of Pakistan, well preserved and well maintained. But the real threat is now coming from those very guardians of the City who now have nothing to do after the debacles in neighboring countries. Read how they want to breathe on top of every Islamabad resident, practically destroying what is known as the City's beauty..
Has anyone counted how many Pakistani officials and diplomats, civilian and in uniform, refused to return to Pakistan after completing their posting in US? A quick count popped up embarrassing numbers. SA Tribune decided to get a full count with all the names and how these people are doing now.
